Megan Neese
My Dance Journey
Who I Am
I grew up dancing competitively at Gotta Dance Company training in styles such as contemporary, jazz, ballet, hip hop, musical theatre, ballroom, pointe and modern. In addition, I competed on an advanced pom team for 4 years, where I served as captain. I continued my studies and earned my B.F.A. in Dance Education from Grand Canyon University in 2022. During my time there, my choreography has won multiple awards and I got to perform twice in the American College Dance Association Gala. After graduating in spring of 2022, I got signed with Go2Talent Agency in the fall of 2022.
I have gotten the opportunity to teach master classes & workshops at many studios around the Arizona area and nationwide. I am currently a choreographer with SharpenUp Dance Team Training, a choreography agency, which allows me to travel around the U.S. choreographing for high schools and colleges.

Approach to Choreography
With a BFA in dance education and representation by Go2Talent Agency, I find value in balancing the dancer's technical capabilities with elements of true expression. My unique style sets me apart in the industry, providing a distinctive flair to every project I undertake. I dance and create to bring meaning, inspiration, and hope into a dark world.
Artistry
Artistry is a core element of my choreography. I strive to create pieces that not only showcase strong technique but also evoke emotion, tell a story, and connect with the audience on a deeper level. My goal is to develop well-rounded dancers who move with both purpose and passion.
Originality
I bring fresh ideas to the table—whether through unexpected movement choices, innovative concepts, or unique staging. Rather than replicating trends, I push boundaries and take artistic risks, crafting work that reflects my individual voice while still resonating with audiences and dancers alike.
Technique
I specialize in training dancers to build strong, clean technique as the foundation for their artistry. Through focused instruction and personalized guidance, I help dancers develop proper alignment, strength, and control to elevate their performance and prevent injury.
